BullsEye Telecom Names Tom Tisko COO
Southfield, MI, July 5, 2017 – BullsEye Telecom, the leading enterprise multi-location VoIP/Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), SD-WAN, broadband and analog voice provider, announced that Executive Vice President and one of the company’s founders, Tom Tisko, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO).
In Tisko’s new role, his top priority will be to evolve BullsEye’s existing base of analog clients to Digital Voice/VoIP technology to preempt the impending sunset of analog voice technology. As AT&T and others work through legislation to turn down Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) in favor of Internet Protocol (IP) communication, BullsEye is focused on preventing its base from getting “caught off guard” by proactively educating and migrating them to alternate forms of VoIP technology, including Hosted PBX, Integrated Voice, SIP and unified communications.
Over the past few years, BullsEye has greatly diversified its solution set to enterprise multi-location businesses, expanding its offerings to include all forms of VoIP, UCaaS, broadband and, more recently, SD-WAN.
“BullsEye has long been known to be the best enterprise multi-location provider in the analog voice space, and now we’re establishing a reputation as the preferred VoIP and broadband provider in the multi-location space,” said Bill Oberlin, Chairman and CEO at BullsEye Telecom.
“We’re excited for Tom to be in this new role and work to make the same name for BullsEye in the VoIP/UCaaS segment by optimizing the capabilities and deployment of this solution,” he added.
Tisko will be responsible for providing the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure BullsEye has the proper operational controls, processes, technology and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and ensure it is operating efficiently within the VoIP/UCaaS space.
“I’m excited to take on new responsibilities for making our execution in conversion activities best-in-class and enhancing the implementation of more complex services like SD-WAN,” said Tisko. “BullsEye has the experience and expertise in delivering the next generation of integrated communications solutions, and it’s my role to continue to expand the company’s capabilities and capacity while improving the speed and effectiveness of our deployment activities.”
Prior to joining BullsEye Telecom, Tisko worked at Electronic Data Systems Corporation (EDS) in 1988, where he led and managed teams of system engineers in resource allocation, technical guidance and career development. He joined World Data Delivery Systems as Director of Operations in 1993. He has been with BullsEye since 1999.
Tisko is a graduate of Michigan Technological University, Houghton, Michigan, with a Bachelor of Science degree. He received his Master of Business Administration from Golden Gate University, San Francisco, California.
Tisko’s strategic contributions have been influential to BullsEye achieving notoriety as an Inc. 500 company and recognized as one of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the country. Tisko is a loving husband to wife, Lori, and a doting father of four children.
