Mitch Albom Annual Radiothon Returns to Somerset Collection

The 3rd Annual S.A.Y. Detroit Radiothon, a star-studded, 15-hour Extravaganza, takes place Thursday, December 4th in the North Side Grand Court at Somerset Collection in Troy, from 6 AM until 9 PM.

The Radiothon attracts hundreds of thousands of on-air listeners, a massive Michigan TV audience through a partnership with WDIV-Channel 4, uncountable viewers via live worldwide stream across the Internet, and thousands of on-site holiday shoppers.

Celebrities from the world of entertainment and sports such as Tim Allen, Brad Ausmus, Bob Costas, Katie Couric, Hugh Jackman, Matthew Stafford, Brad Whitford, and many more will join in the festivities, along with experiential auction items for callers and viewers to bid on, heartwarming testimonials, and much, much more! It’s great fun for the entire family to listen to, or be a part of the live audience in the Grand Court at Somerset.

For the first time ever, the Donations Call Center, appropriately titled the BullsEye Telecom Call Center, will be located on site in the North Side Grand Court.

Last year’s event alone raised more than $400,000 in a single day, providing year-long help for worthy agencies and the far-reaching efforts of S.A.Y. Detroit- helping infants in daycare, homeless children with medical issues, promising students with no means of college, recovering adults, working families in need of housing, veterans battling homelessness and senior citizens being left on the street.

S.A.Y. Detroit gives 100 percent of all funds raised directly to those in need, with no internal operational costs.
