BullsEye Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Key component of celebration is volunteering at Forgotten Harvest

Southfield, MI – BullsEye Telecom, the leading national multi-location communications solutions provider, has been celebrating its 20th anniversary in business throughout the month of June 2019. The entire Bullseye team has been invited to partake in the festivities by enjoying a special event each day, including a commemorative party on June 21, 2019.

BullsEye also celebrated the milestone anniversary by helping those less fortunate by volunteering at a local food bank, Forgotten Harvest. This is part of the “BullsEye Cares” initiative where employees volunteer their time, talent, and resources to help those in need at several local charities.

During the month of June, 126 employees donated nearly 400 hours of time at Forgotten Harvest, a metro Detroit food bank committed to fight hunger and food insecurity for families in need.

“We are proud of our track record of serving clients across the U.S. by providing technology solutions that make a positive impact on their business. It’s been a great month of celebrating our success. I am especially proud that we incorporated a way to give back to Southeastern Michigan via our work with Forgotten Harvest,” commented Tom Tisko, BullsEye’s president & CEO.

“Forgotten Harvest relies upon volunteers like the team from BullsEye Telecom. Without their dedication and service to the community we wouldn’t be able to fight hunger and reduce food insecurity by providing, free-of-charge, over 42,000,000 pounds of food to metro Detroiters that need it the most,” added Kirk Mayes CEO for Forgotten Harvest.

About Forgotten Harvest

Oak Park, Michigan-based Forgotten Harvest was formed in 1990 to fight two problems: hunger and waste. Forgotten Harvest “rescued” just over 42 million pounds of food last year by collecting surplus prepared and perishable food from over 800 locations, including grocery stores, fruit and vegetable markets, restaurants, caterers, dairies, farmers, wholesale food distributors and other Health Department-approved sources. This donated food, which would otherwise go to waste, is delivered free-of-charge to 255 emergency food providers in the metro Detroit area.
