BullsEye Supports Mitch Albom Radiothon for Eighth Consecutive Year

In challenging pandemic environment, BullsEye focuses on culture-enhancing initiatives

Southfield, MI, Dec. 8, 2020 – It’s the season of giving but at BullsEye Telecom, the leading national multi-location communications solutions provider, every season is the time to help others. As part of its BullsEye Cares initiative, employees supported several local and national organizations and events in 2020. A signature charitable effort for BullsEye is providing communications for the Mitch Albom Radiothon to be held on December 10, 2020.

BullsEye will lend its expertise by establishing a temporary cloud-based VoIP contact center to ensure that optimal infrastructure is in place to aid with fundraising efforts. Employees will also be volunteering, answering donation calls and taking auction item bids. This will be the eighth consecutive year that BullsEye has supported the SAY Detroit Radiothon. In 2019, the radiothon raised $1,376,985.

“Giving back to the local community is not just something we talk about at BullsEye, it’s something we do as much as possible,” said Tom Tisko, president & CEO at BullsEye. “Our goal is to have a positive impact on our communities. It’s a part of our culture and something our employees embrace.”

The company is encouraging its team to continue giving back to those in need by providing several organizations and events to support. With local Detroit and national options to choose from, the list includes ways to donate food, blankets, children’s books, and money. Charities BullsEye will be supporting this year are the Salvation Army, World Medical Relief, Rx for Reading Detroit Book Drive, and Gleaners Food Drive.

In 2020, BullsEye’s CEO signed the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion pledge, the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion within the workplace. BullsEye was also selected as a Best and Brightest Companies to Work For®, a program of MichBusiness (formally Michigan Business and Professional Association) that provides the business community with the opportunity to gain recognition, showcase their best practices, and demonstrate why they are an ideal place for employees to work.

About Mitch Albom SAY Detroit Radiothon

Since its first broadcast in 2012, the annual radiothons have raised over $7 million to help the poor, the homeless, families without homes, children without medical care, students hoping to reach the college of their dreams, and veterans who have hit hard times. All funds raised benefit SAY (Super All Year) Detroit, an umbrella 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that funds programs like the SAY Detroit Family Health Clinic, the SAY Play Center, Working Homes/Working Families, the Dream Scholars, and several other local charitable efforts who care for Detroit’s neediest and work towards a revitalized Detroit.
