BullsEye Names New Executive Sales Leadership

Southfield, MI, February 7, 2017 National multi-location telecom expert and enterprise Digital Voice/VoIP solutions provider, BullsEye Telecom is pleased to announce the executive appointments of Brian Babich as Vice President, Channel Sales and Chris Otenbaker as Vice President, Corporate Accounts.

These appointments are in line with the Michigan-based company’s continued success as the dominant leader in the enterprise multi-location telecom space. Over the past 17 years, BullsEye has experienced stable, strong and consistent financial performance. With the introduction of these key leadership positions, the company is well positioned for an even bigger share of the enterprise multi-location telecommunications market.

Brian Babich is a 22-year telecom veteran who has served in both direct and Channel Sales leadership roles at BullsEye. Babich led the national direct Sales team prior to spearheading the Channel and as a result developed an extreme passion for teaching BullsEye’s partners how to sell and effectively position BullsEye as the obvious choice for national multi-location enterprises.

Having advanced some of the company’s most complex sales through Channel partnerships, Babich has been largely instrumental to BullsEye’s success within the Channel. The company’s Channel recruitment growth has increased by an average of 11 percent in the last two years.

The Channel business has been evolving for BullsEye and Babich sees great untapped potential in the non-traditional agent space. “Through the company’s multi-location blueprint model, it is partnering with more value-added resellers (VARs) and managed services providers (MSPs) to help them achieve greater penetration in their existing base,” said Babich.

BullsEye’s ability to integrate Digital Voice/VoIP, broadband and managed services expands the opportunities for VARs and MSPs who already manage their clients’ network infrastructure. For these businesses a partnership with BullsEye simplifies sourcing and provides them with a single point of contact for support. “Our capabilities give them the opportunity to capture and generate recurring revenue from their base,” concludes Babich.

This continued growth in the Channel will drive strong results in BullsEye’s already growing share of the Digital Voice/VoIP and broadband markets. Over the past few years, the company has enjoyed more than 20 percent compounded annual growth in its broadband and VoIP business.

BullsEye continues to be an advanced leader in the broadband space, covering every location across the country. The company also stands unmatched in its ability to consolidate all services at all locations nationwide from traditional voice, Digital Voice/VoIP, broadband and managed services under a single consolidated invoice.

“BullsEye continues to be successful because we’ve positioned ourselves as more than just a traditional telecom provider. Our customers know this and continue to respond positively to our ability to deliver an integrated solution that’s mission-critical to not only incredible cost savings, but also their continued communications success,” comments William H. Oberlin, Chairman and CEO of BullsEye Telecom.

To that end, the Vice President of Corporate Accounts appointment solidifies the company’s strategy to promote a high touch environment. “We are proud to retain over 98 percent of our clients and believe that they will benefit hugely from Chris’ appointment,” says Oberlin.

Chris will continue to lead his team as the primary client advocate. “His proven leadership together with investments in human resources, technology and strategic process improvements remain at the forefront of our decision,” Oberlin concludes.

Otenbaker’s role is testament to how BullsEye delivers commitment and quality to its base. This role was first established in October 2009, with Otenbaker as one of only two Customer Relationship Managers (CRMs). The team has since quadrupled in size allowing BullsEye to continue its unique high-touch approach with its clients, an approach which is especially important given how complex the landscape has become as technology use shifts.

According to Otenbaker, “Having served as a brand ambassador to our clients, I am passionate about our clients being excited with the solutions we propose and benefiting from the tangible results as they use them. Our goal remains to cultivate a strong base of BullsEye promoters.”

Otenbaker is a proven leader and his focus on customer success will strengthen BullsEye and continue to benefit the company’s growing client base by delivering a comprehensive portfolio of high-quality, flexible telecommunication solutions.
