BullsEye Telecom Appoints New VP of Operations
BullsEye, the industry leader in helping multi-location businesses proactively transition from traditional phone service to Hosted IP PBX and Digital Voice announced today the recent appointment of Douglas Black, who joins the executive team as Vice President of Operations.
With 24 years of experience in the telecom and tech industries, Black’s new role will focus on operational and performance-driven improvement. Working closely with both the Deployment and Provisioning departments, Black’s new role will cultivate greater internal synergies while streamlining internal processes across the board. In other words, resource sharing and collaboration will remain cornerstones of BullsEye’s widely acclaimed client services and success models.
This telecom ’all-star‘ has already proven to be an invaluable team member. In just a few short weeks, Black is spearheading efforts to create stronger department efficiencies that have resulted in immediate, fluid revenue streams as well as unparalleled client experiences.
“BullsEye is a fast-growing company and we identify and embrace ‘service evolution’ to exceed client demand and expectations. We are thrilled to welcome Doug to the team as a key figure in future growth,” comments Bill Oberlin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Prior to his lead role with BullsEye Telecom, Black earned his stripes in key leadership roles for a number of CLECs including Grid4 Communications, LDMI Telecommunications (currently Windstream Communications), US Xchange (currently One Communications) and Vertical Communications.
“This time around, I’ll be working closely with the multiple departments to transcend traditional POTS and further extend our proficiency with cloud-based technologies. Day to day, cloud computing is becoming a more widely accepted and viable solution. Despite what the other providers might tell you, our [BullsEye] unique white glove approach where we complete the installation for the customer from end to end, simply makes the most sense especially in a complex multi-location environment,” says Black.
Black joins BullsEye with multiple switch platform certifications including Nortel DMS 250, Tellabs DEX, and Lucent 5ESS. He is a graduate of ITT Technical Institute and lives in Macomb with his wife and 3 kids. In his spare time, Black is a frequent volunteer with Knights of Columbus.
